How can i get a new license plate?

Question

a few months back i had gotten into a finder bender with a truck,no damage to my bumper but he had one of those things sticking out of the back that carry trailers and it put a hole clean through my plate

where or how can i get a new one?

I'm sorry, I am not saying this to be cruel - but how do you think you'd get a new license plate? You go the state office that issues them. It's no big deal, plates fall off or get damaged all the time. You pay a few bucks and you're in business.

Contact the DMV for a replacement. Happens all the time. Tell them it is damaged and you need a replacement. Pay the fee and they will get you one. They may want the old one in exchange, they may not. They will let you know.
