Tourist visas are not routinely available to visit Saudi Arabia.  It would be much more likely that you would be able to arrange a Haj or Umrah visa, or a business/work visa (which requires a sponsor).  However, limited tourist visas are available under special circumstances.  Your sponsor in Saudi Arabia must apply for the invitation through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. If the request is granted, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will send the invitation and authorization directly to the Saudi Embassy in your country. Proof of relationship, if any, with the sponsor ( a copy of the marriage certificate for a wife, a copy of the birth certificate for the child) is required. Onward/Return ticket or confirmed itinerary is also required.
