Go to http://demonoid.com EVERY day and check for their open registration days.

Please try and keep your share ratio around 1.1 when you get in.

You can get an invitation code from a current member of demonoid. I'm actually a new member of demonoid.com last month. I've already checked my account if I can give out an invitation code but unfortunately, demonoid haven't release any invitation code yet, for the reason of avoiding getting it abuse.

Members are given codes occasionally to pass along, especially if they are judged to be good community members. But they're still given out sparingly: I've been a user for about a year, I've got a very positive upload/download ratio, and I've still never gotten a code yet (given, I don't use Demonoid a whole lot).

Remember every once in a while they open registration to the public- that's how I got my account. If you want it badly enough, you should just check the site every morning.
