stupid brother left home and wont tell me his password for the pc administrator account

  1. If you don't really care what the password is

    The program at http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/b...

    allows you to re-set the password.

    A similar approach (resetting the password) is possible for XP as shown at

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321305
