  1. Think about how life will be if you blow off the exams, and let that motivate you to do your work. Make a schedule for yourself and stick to it. Plan study time with friends so there's someone else who is counting on you to be there. Good luck!

  2. take a long walk and try to remember that most of us took exams and regardless of the results still managed to get a life......often the worse performers got on much better than the swots...so whatever happens keep looking forward and just do your best....it will be ok ..good luck..!!

  3. That's a shame, just when you need them most.

Try going for a brisk walk before sitting down to study, you will be able to settle into it quickly and be able to retain more information.

Use the time you are walking to plan your study, then try to use the things you see on the walk as memory tools.

Set out a study timetable and try sticking to it.

Good luck, you have made a great leap just by asking for help.

  4. You're getting a little stressed, and that is understandable. Don't expect to change everything at once. Try to focus on today and the now and do what you can today. Break up all of the things you have to do into little tasks and tackle these smaller things one at a time. Take short breaks often. During these breaks get up and move around and try to visualize positive things.

Yes, you need to look at the big picture from time to time to make sure you're on track, but it's really important right now to focus on little things and plug away at what you can get done right now. Do what you can do today. Tomorrow wake up and do what you can do tomorrow.

  5. I know where you're coming from, buddy.  I'm doing AS exams as well, but what you need to do is just forget about working for a day, over the weekend.  Don't pick up a book, nothing.  Go and enjoy yourself, have fun, go to a theme park, whatever.  Just get your mind off work.  Then, on Monday you will feel better, and ready to work.

    Good luck!
