  1. you need to practice more than one time a week you need to practice every day all day

  2. PRACTICE jumping more and dont think bout the jumps to much just do it

  3. Practice is the only way to  improve and if you can get some lessons and make sure you follow the instructions of the coach as there are so many people who have lessons but really don't take onboard what is being taught.

If you are training aim to do a certain amount of laps and then slowly increase the amount that you do, although try not to ride tired.  If you stop after only one lap then you body will want to stop and rest when you are racing.

Try to find a training partner.  SOmeone who is better than you is ideal as it is something for you to strive for.  That way when training you can follow them over jumps and gauge your speed from theirs.

If you find yourself riding sloppy then correct yourself as riding sloppy means racing sloppy.

My son raced the kx125 for a couple of years and we moved him to a cr125 (he also races the crf150r and the crf250r.  Three sections) as the kx125 just didn't seem to have the pull down the straights.

  4. pactice more and try jumping bigger ramps
