  1. Just keep upping the ammount you run every day.  It might be easier to run if you listen to music, thats wat I do to take my mind off of running.

  2. stretch before and after you run if your not already,

    run longer.

  3. Move your legs up and down.

    Don't take that sexually either.

  4. aye, you have to practice!, and when your gonna run eat spaghetti, it'll give you plenty of energy for the next days.. race or whatever your doing, Lance armstrong does that before his bike things (used to) :P

  5. Practice your breathing technique in throught the nose out through the mouth and run every day

  6. just take it easy , at the first start running 1 mile every day for a week and dont forget stretches or sweedy to avoid cramp ,then in the 2nd weak start running 2 miles , 3rd and fourth week 2.5 miles, the 5th 1 miles ,the 6th 2 miles  , just focus on your food , never eat junk food from now till the xc , eat vegetables and meat , keep practicing on legs muscles i dunno its name , i am egyptian lol , but just practice on them in the gym day after an other .

    i hope i helped , good luck .

  7. course you would!

:) i would alternate between going long distances and short fast runs.

(skipping every other day) i would go 5 miles, then 2 semi-sprinting then repeat.

if you're really dedicated yo ucan do this.

    good luck!

    hope you win!

  8. the more you run the better you will be at it

  9. well yeah you would i have to do that as part as my soccer trainingevery nite so yes it dose help but dont push your self to hard to start with then work your way to longer and harder runs

  10. I have been running for 8 years now and would recommend the following:

I would strengthen the core: calves, quads, hams, back and abdominal (the "six pack" muscles along with the obleks), chest and arms. But when strengthening these muscles, I would focus more on the muscle endurance not the muscle bulk. For more advice for this, I would consult with a personal trainer. For the running part, I would stay flexible as it helps/contributes to your balance (so do the muscles in your core) but also helps prevent some injuries like pulled muscles and shin splints. Also, I would try to make up a schedule where you can run for X amount of days and try to have a long run. I would start off slowly, running about 2-3 miles per run for the first week and increase my mileage per week. Make sure you have the following: a good diet, hydration, sleep, a good sense on how to take care of your body, and sleep. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Good Luck!!!

  11. Running a mile or two more will improve your stamina. You might also try multiple "wind sprints" running as fast as you can for 40 yards or so  to build up speed and endurance. Make sure you are drinking enough water. If you live near a beach run on the sand. Finally, specific weight training for runners also helps.

  12. go on hikes with a weighted ruck sack and also start running uphill,  thats the way the military does it.

  13. try running with ankle weights, it will strengthen your leg muscles and it will make you faster

  14. Of course

  15. I'm an expert at this:

    1. Do not run EVERY DAY...you can get really sore and sick of running(u want it to be fun so you can keep on running)

    2. Run about 3 - 5 days a week

    3. Warm up THEN stretch (if you stretch before warming up you are likely to pull a muscle) THEN run then strech again (so you won't be sore)

    4. Do weight training (they will help you get strong and believe it or not it helps you A LOT when running)

    5. If you don't have endurance or you have a hard time keeping on schedule have a trainer help you!

These tips will help you stay in shape!...and like to run

you will be proud...just wait and see!

  16. yes you would get better

practice running long distances to keep your endurance up

    if you're a sprinter:

practice running like every 200 m sprinting 80% 12 times

it will hurt and it will burn like crazy. but i admit. i got much faster

since when it hurts i still run since i fight against it

this will train for you when you start getting tired when you

are running the 400 or something

  17. run more, practice more.  It's the only way to be better.

  18. If you build a base over the summer, which means log miles. You should be in tip top shape by the time cross country comes around. Because if your body is used to running about 5 miles you will be in good shape next cross country season.

  19. practice make purfecto!!...somone told me that running in the morning makes u better ...idk... but you could try...good luck

  20. keep doing it

    improove your staminer

run as far as you can with out strining yourself

then run a little further every time

    eat right

CAFEENE or good healthy energy foods

if your realy desprate theres always steriods

    :p

    lol jks

  21. Indians were looking for the same answers and used to drink the blood of the Jaguar. There have been many documented reports on how their speed would increase about 40%...Almost half. Ebay in Africa is a good source when it comes to obtaining the Jaguar blood. Make sure that it is blood from the foot and they don't try to rip you off and sell you blood from the heart.Good luck and I hope the same works for you.

  22. run plenty more. keep practicing. Practice makes perfect

  23. If you would run at least 2 miles everyday at your own pace and then just keep working your way up each day.

  24. of coarse you would.

    perfect takes practice.

  25. stretch a lot.  and also yah... do sum distance training. if u have a track nearby u can do lap pyramids like :

    1 lap : 10 seconds rest

    2 laps 20 sec

    3 laps 40 seconds

    4 laps 80 seconds

(and go down too with same rest)

and try to do that once or twice a week, but u still needa try to run at least a mile a day)
