Question:

How can i get better handling on my car?

All the fluids and everything are fine. I just want after market parts to make it better.

  1. Aftermarket shocks/struts and lowering springs (NOT the cheapo springs, but good ones).  Heavier sway-bars (especially the rear if you are front-wheel drive).  Get rid of extra junk from the car -- abs, cruise, spare tire, 100 lb sub-woofer box.  Get a lighter battery (odyssey makes a 13.5 lb one) and lighter wheels and tires.


  2. jr offered some very good advise so all I would add would be to look into purchasing some low profile tires. With the shorter side wall the handling characteristics will improve greatly. However the lower profile tires might make your car look weird so you might need to look into larger rims. Wider tires will improve handling too. So low profile tires that are wider as well ought to make your car handle like its on rails.  

  3. youll want to by a new suspension and/or tires.

    if you want to do a little extra you can put in new brakes that can help only when your slowing down.

    i would reccomend a new suspension and tires.
