How can i get black ink out of my dark blue carpet without bleaching it?

i need this done fast and i don't have much money.

I heard dipping a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol, then gently dabbing it on the spot works to remove permanent marker, maybe that will work.

I really doubt you'll be able to get it out. Might be able to fade it a bit which wont be to bad since it is a dark carpet,

Try Afta by Gardsman.

If you have any excess carpet or a peice from the closet a carpet installer could cut out the damaged area & seam in a new peice.

I've used hairspray on blue jeans with ink on them and it really does work.  I guess it would work on carpet also.  Won't hurt to try.
