How can i get buddlea cuttings to get roots?

i have butterfly plant cuttings in water for days...how do i get roots to grow???

I don't think you cutting will grow roots in water.  I have never been able to get cutting to root in water.   You should try rooting it in small pot.  I would go to any Garden Center and buy small bottle of Rooting Hormone, for about $3.00  this will greatly increase your chances. Cut off small piece about 6" long, leave only one leaf, split end up about one inch dip in rooting hormone. Stick your clipping about 3 inches deep, into firmly packed soil, of a small pot with drain holes in bottom. Do not let soil dry out. It will take about one month to root.
