I always found the best deals on orbitz.Its best not to flight from Thursday to Sunday,its more expensive most of the time.Your baby can be on your lap so you dont have to pay for her.

It all pretty much depends on 2 factors

  1)  what time of year you are travelling

  2)  if you are willing to take connecting flights

Having a 4 month old baby can be tough when travelling, but they generally handle the flight better than adults.  For you it's a lot of work if you're flying alone with the baby because of stroller, handbags, diaper bag, using the bathroom, luggage, etc.
