  1. You have to spend lots of time with it,even if your sitting nearby when its out in the field,it will get nosy & walk over to you to see what your up to!Then give it a treat, apple or carrot better than mints!

Also talk to it whilst grooming/riding/mucking it out,so it gets used to your tone of voice.

It will take time, but when it recognises your voice it will probably give a little whinny(neigh)as if to say 'hello!'Be patient,it's worth the wait!

  2. By spending time with it,stroking it brushing it,feed small bits of apple or carrot ,

  3. woww thats gunna be hard, horses create bonds by being close to each other alot.

i bonded with mine 3months for my haffy and 6 months for my pony. i go up everyday but just spend alot of time with them and to gain their trust.

just give them treats and groom etc. just generally accting like you own the horse.

  4. Spend time grooming it because it will help you bond with him. Give it a treat everytime you see him and he will remember you. Also you could try teaching him a trick, like if you touch your mouth and say kiss, then iss him on the nose, then treat him, he will learn to give you kisses when you gesture to your mouth and say kiss. This will take a while and a lot of patience but good luck. 2 days a week should be enough for you to bond with the horse.

  5. build a strong bond with the horse, it might take a while but it pays off in the end

  6. Polo mints will do the trick. If you give it some mints every time you see it, it will remember you without fail!

  7. Definitely by spending time with it. Grooming is good.

Also the way to a horse's heart is through carrots, apples and...polo mints!
