How can i get crickets out of my lizard tank easier?

i read that you have to take the crickets out of the tank since they could bite the lizard at night. how can i get them out faster?

  1. What I do is put some cricket food or apple or potatoe slice and the cricket will eat the cricket food, not eat off the lizard. Good luck.=)


  2. just keep a cardboard roll from toilet paper or paper towels in there..the crickets will usually climb in and it makes it easy to transfer them...

    Also you could only feed as many as she will eat so you dont have to take them out......

    Or you can keep cricket food..or a slice of potato or apple or orange....i would recommend getting a cricket cave if your going to do that it will keep your lizard from accidentally ingesting the cricket food....

    the cave has a little hole in it where the crickets climb in and out and your lizard can eat them as they come out. they usually sell the cricket caves at petstores...if you cant find one have them order one for you.
