Great question and one with many different answers to explore. You will have to decide which one will spark the passion in you and if you want to make extra gas money or a income you will be proud of. Become a freelance / consultant in something.

Of course you'll have to put in the time and hard work to get respect and knowledge in your chosen field, which will probably mean you need to work 8+ hours a day for a few years.

Then you'll need to build up a base of clients and work again to get respect as a consultant, so that you can find enough people willing to pay top dollar for your services.

I guess that means the answer is - if you want to make decent money, you have to work for it..... or win the lottery.
