How can i get emancipated when not living in the us?

Question

i fit all the requirements for emancipation in the state of Virginia where i was previously living but now i am living in japan.

i am still however a us citizen so how would i go about filing a petition for emancipation?

Your citizenship is irrelevant.  You would have to become emancipated through the courts in Japan according to Japanese law.
