How can i get exposure for my writing?

Question

I'm looking for some places on the internet where I can share my writing for free. Places where the most people possible will read it and give me feedback. I tried writing.com, but it was too convoluted and only two people reads my stuff.

any ideas?

Excuse' moi... but have you tried a local writers' group? From what I know, they are much more rewarding than the internet.

Start your own blog.

Blog on a Fox affiliate station for free.

Write on Craigslist Rants and raves section.

I agree you should blog.  You could also consider writing opinion and editorial for your local paper.  You probably would need to get a job for editorial but you would get your name out until you are ready to write for bigger publications.  You also get a portfolio going of your writing that you can take with you to bigger and better things.  The internet is really too much of a hit or miss if you want an audience but search for existing groups based on your subject matter and you will eventually find a good place to blog.

Myspace is gr8 if you haven't done already, there are tons of groups in which you can post your work and even receive feedback

Well, if you join a forum, there will frequently be a place where you can post your stories. Anything at all will work really, as long as you join for the right reasons.
