How can i get from dortmund to hamburg for less money?

ban is too expensive for me,there is no apropriate car in mitfahrzentrale too :(

There are some night busses connecting bigger German cities. Maybe there is also a route between Dortmund and Hamburg. They are usually cheap, but not that fast.

An other option is to buy a "Sparpreis"-ticket from "Deutsche Bahn" (German Railways). You have to buy your ticket some weeks before your depature and they'll be cheaper for 25% or 50%. Best way is to ask at the ticket point ("Reisezentrum").

There is another option with car sharing....This is where people who are driving from one destination to another advertise they have room in the car - you can call them and agree on how much money to pay to go with. This could be the cheapest way and I would be happy to help you - but I need to know when you are planning to go!

If you are brave... hitchhiking. You are not in such a dangerous country. There might be some bus lines between Dortmund and Hamburg... but I am not sure.

Another option is still the Bahn... you get cheap tickets that you can only use in slow trains. You must ask for it explicitly because these b*stards at the Bahn counter always try to sell the expensive tickets...:-)
