How can i get from one city to another in Italy?

to be more clear i need to know how to get from Rome to Florence; from Florence to Venice; and From Venice to Milan? and if anyone can tell the cost of the train tickets it will be perfect:))

    even if the site is being tempermental & won't let you buy tickets, you can still get the prices and a schedule.

    2nd class round-trip between venice and florence was (last year anyways) about 30 euro for the eurostar train.

    from venice to milan is about the same.

    and both of these trips are about 4-4.5 hrs one-way.

    you can buy tickets online & reserve seats or use the automated yellow machines at the stations.

    make sure you don't buy a 'regular' ticket (i.e., no reservation) and then get on a train that requires reservations, you'll pay the extra for the seat + a fine. the website will tell you what trains need reservations - eurostar and IC trains require them.

    and don't forget to validate (Stamp) the ticket before boarding!
