How can i get highlighted hair without using hair color that can hurt my scalp?

my mom wont let me have any hair color that might have chemicals that can be harmful to my scalp. Any suggestions?

  1. high lift tint instead of bleach


  2. anytime you use a haircolor or bleach, the only time you get scalp "damage" is if it's to high of volumn peroxide or left on to long and the worst that can happen is a few blisters.

    have your hair pulled through a highlighting cap and the color or bleach will not touch your scalp at all.
