How can i get info of adopting a baby from another country??

I want to adopt about a 5month year old baby from another country such as argentina or mexico or romania or russia. where can I start the process? Is it expensive???

Lutheran Social Services has an international adoption program.  Check out the LSS program in your state.  It's expensive though, and you have to be able to travel to the other country usually twice, and be able to spend a few weeks there.  You are responsible for the travel expenses in addition to the adoption fees, so it gets pricey.  Russian adoption runs about $35,000.

I would start with an adoption agency and see if there is anything they can do to help you if not contact a lawyer......I know if you adopt from Russia you will have to go there to pick up the baby....but remember babies are always in high demand and you may want to look into adopting a child that is a little older perhaps 4, 5, or 6 they are in desperate need of a loving home.....
