My mom lives in Florida i live in Canada with my sister and my dad and his wife (my stepmom) and her 2 kids. They smoke and drink and are always fighting. My dad yells at my sister and I alot once in a while he hits us. He's hit us with hangers, belts, his hand, backpacks, and one time he gave my sister a bloody nose (and before that she had NEVER gotten one in her entire life, no joke). I've told my teachers and my principle, my friends, my (real)mom, some family members, ive called Kids Help Phone but nobody ever cares.

the place where we live is bug, smoke, and alcohol infested. My (real) mom doesn't want me and my sister, and my father is the worst parent you could imagine! How can i get into Foster care?

  2. Call the children's help line and they can help call a childrens services in you're area .

The children's help line number is on any box of smarties  :)

  3. I was put in foster care when I was 9 years old because my mother is an alcoholic, so I know a little about this.

You need to tell your principal again. He might not believe you because maybe your parents are extra good at school. Obviously you have the computer, so look up your county's Children Services office and call them. They will care, and they will do something. Be aware that you and your sister could be separated when you go into the system, and that you will still see your parents, and there will be court hearings and visitation hours (sounds like a funeral home) and all kinds of c**p.

These sites both have hotlines you can call. Remember since some hotlines are anonymous they can't possibly help you get out of this situation. Your county's Children Services (or similar name) office is always there to help, look it up online or in the telephone book for your county.

If that still doesn't work, CALL THE POLICE!!

    Good luck!

  4. that is so sad. go to the police and they will connect you to child services. your father should not get away with that! <3

  5. Contact the police.

    Im sorry.

    Awsners

  6. Call a child advocate.(check out the website below) They are trained to help you, and be there for you. They will not assume you are making things up the way your teachers, principal, and the Kids Help Phone people think you are. Good Luck.

  7. if you have it in Canada report him to DSS.
