  1. arent most universitys brown due to bricks being brown and all? :)

  2. get involved in organizational/leadership activities. also work on writing a strong essay. if you look online you will find many guides on how to choose a topic and write a successful essay.

  3. Brown accepted 13% of applicants for this year's entering class. All the ivies except Cornell are now total crsp shoots.

Hopefully your GPA puts you very high in your class, but at minimum in the top 5%. Get your SAT to 2200 plus. Get great recs and write a great essay. If you can do that, you'll have a lottery ticket.

  4. go to brown because you want to ... not to prove people wrong.

check out www.collegeconfidential.com there is an entire forum on brown u, and many other colleges & universities. your gpa is impressive, but the application process is EXTREMELY competitive these days.. you will need to get those SATS up and do some more volunteering or extracirriculars

  5. You are going to need to find something unique about you that the college will like. Do you have any hobbies? Skills? Volunteer activities? Do you know any alum? A lot of getting into Brown is money and politics, but it is possible. Good luck!

  6. apply. you cant do anything
