How can i get involved in eco friendly-ing our county more. It doesnt seem much is out there to support it.?

There are dumpsters at the dump but no one knows the guidlines for plastics #1-7. We say 'keep green clean, and yet it seems that is not a priority. I would think if it was, everyone would know how to help. I want to spread the news to all about hazordous chemicals and eco friendly solutions. I myself know little but im learnig daily. I wish it was mandatory to recycle. I want to really get involved in spreading knowledge to the mis lead and mis informed.

segregation is the answer. we must segregate the degradable and the non degradable wastes. degradable should be converted into gobar and non degradable should be recycled. start by convincing neighbors to dump organic and non organic wastes separately. collect the organic and convert them into gobar. you can earn from this and this is first step. later separate bags can be provided for dumping organic, plastics, electronic items etc. plastics and electronic items can be recycled. thus keeping the locality then if done large scale the country too.

In most cases it is best to lead by example. Start with your home and do what you can.  Pass your knowledge on to friends.  Even one household who reduces, recycles and reuses makes a big difference. Just the same as each vote counts.  Same concept.  There is a saying that word of mouth is the best advertisement.

Alot of people are ignorant about Global warming and will continue to be ignorant about it..

so you have to go with a different angle..

either to help clean up the planet because of pollution hurting people and animals or so they save money

most people like to save money
