There is a type of Kryptonite in the cimics that is man made and eneables non-superpowered humans to have Kryptonian abilities. That is also not real, get over it.

Human beings could not handle that power.  Physically and Mentally.   I have seen a guy go insane after getting extreme psychic powers from the Greys.  We had to commit him to our facility until the Greys removed those powers from him.  We release him, but he still isn't normal.
