How can i get microsoft word on my computer?

I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop with no microsoft word on it. I need it for college in september. When i got the computer it came with it on it of course and i just had to put the code in it. It was a falty code or something because it would not work. I tried it a million times very carefully and correctly and it would not install with that code. I got this laptop a couple years ago and have since lost the installation disc for the microsoft word it came with. v_v I have Word 2003 (the one that came with it) still on my computer but it won't open now at all without the disc. This is so ******* frustrating. Is there a way i can call stupid dell and talk to people that don't speak english for three hours of my day and obtain a new microsoft word disc?

There is not much you can do when talking to a tech person. Most all support techs are located in other countries. Just call Dell support and ask for a new system disc. You can go to the dell website too, and they may have some help.

Word is a component of Microsoft Office. What you had then was a trial install (full functional, free but limited in time) which ended long ago - same stuff for the 2003 version. If you want it again you must buy it - around $200.

Or you could get http://www.openoffice.org/ for free.

You can contact Dell if you're laptop still under warranty.  However, this Microsoft thing should Microsoft's problem and not the Dell problem.  Therefore, you should contact Microsoft instead of Dell.  Suggest you to download a new version online or buy a new version of Microsoft Office 2007 at a retail store.  It only costs about $100 dollars if you're a student.  There also some free site offer downloading, but this is your own risk for downloading from internet.  If you want you can download it directly from this site: http://www.torrentz.com and type Microsoft Office 2007 in the text box once you get into this link.
