How can i get more horsepower out of a 2000 polaris virage 700 jet ski?

Flame arrestors are a good start., the air intakes on any stock ski are very restrictive.  An aftermarket pipe helps tremendously, and raising the compression with a milled or aftermarket head helps a lot as well.  Keep in mind all of these things affect the fuel/air mixture going into the engine, so you will have to re-jet your carbs, or you will blow your engine.
