How can i get music saved to my hardrive with out using a cd?

i have some songs on my computer and want to listen to them on my 360 but the dvd drive dosnt work how else can i get the songs onto the 360 hardrive?

also without using the media centre thing the 360 has

Currently at the moment there is no other way of transferring files to the Xbox 360's hard drive with out using a CD to do so. Even using the Media Center Extender interface on the Xbox 360 you can not transfer any data be it pictures, music or videos to the Xbox 360 this is Streaming the Media only.

To load music on to the hard drive you can only do it by inserting a disc and ripping its music on to the hard drive. You can't use a usb drive, portable drive or any attached Pc via a network.

Have you got an mp3 player? If so then plug it into the USB port, thats what I used to do.

If you can only stream media to a 360, what's the copy button for ? I tired tranferring files with an ipod, didnt work so there's one you can cross off your list.
