my 11 week old is swaddled for sleeps, but am thinking about trying to get her out of it as she doesn't sleep well when we go out and it totally disrupts her nightly sleep which is hit and miss at the best of times!

  1. I would consider staying at home and continuing to swaddle for naps if that is what she needs.  She will probably grow out of it in a short time, for now be flexible and let your baby sleep, swaddled at home for now.

  2. she's a newborn of course her sleep will be hit or miss.

they go through changes in their sleep patterns till they are in grade school! get used to it.

i swaddled mine for as long as the fit in a receiving blanket.

they like to be swaddled, it's comforting. you want to stop something that is comforting to her? i don't get that sorry.
