  1. talk to your doctor.

  2. Some babies gain weight slower than others. My son is 5 months old and only weighs about 14 1/2 lbs. What my ped said for us to do to help him put on a few extra pounds is to put some rice cereal (about a tablespoon per 5oz of formula) into his bottle.  He has been fine ever since he has been on it. It also helps with reflux as well (the weight helps keep it down.)

She may not take as much as she normally does because the rice cereal is more filling then just formula, but the extra calories really helps put on the weight.

  3. Has her pediatrician said anything about this? It will be best for you to speak with him/her since they know your baby's growth pattern. If they see a problem with it then they can go over any diet plans that need to be put into place.

  4. nothing to worry about my daughter (also mia was small) 5lb 11oz born she is 2 now and still small. My son 9 weeks on the other hand is 16lbs!! my daughter was only 18lbs at 1yr old talk about total opposites. Maybe mia's are just small

Diamonds arn't the size of bricks oh and good things come in small packages.Don't know what that says about my son though xx :)

  5. Speak to your doctor to see if there's reason to worry.

  6. Don't stress about it.  Talk to your doctor.  My grand daughter is  gaining slowly too.  Some kids are just different.  But, if your gut tells you there is something wrong pursue it!!
