How can i get my boyfriend in better shape, lose weight and get healthy?

I've been with him for about a year now and our relationship is great. I love him and we have plans to continue the relationship into something serious. I really care about him, and i am worried about his health. He is 20 and i think about 25 pounds over weight. I dont really care too much how he looks but im worried about his health. I've talked to him about it but he just doesnt take me seriously. I am in very good shape and look good, i just want him to be healthy and feel good about his body. He is in school and eats out a lot. At home his mother does not cook well. What can i do to help him get into better shape and be healthy?

  2. I am going through a similar situation with my girlfriend and what each of you needs is motivation. Set an achieveable goal and reach it. Most importantly don't stress him or drag out the point too much or he will think you are nagging him. Just stay positive and motivate him to get into shape.

    If your serious about him, then you could work to this goal together.

    s*x is a great way of burning energy, just make sure he's the one doing the work!!  

  3. I strongly recommend fat loss for idiots. I had bought fr my girlfriend previously :) . here some of my review of it.:-

    Your bf need to consume a balance diet plan foods which are made up of:

    i. Lean proteins,

    ii. Fruit and vegetables, and

    iii. Sources of fat come from whole foods (such as cottage cheese or eggs).

    iv. Starchy carbohydrates (such as oats and pasta).

    Divide his meals into  4 and that should be eaten at a minimum of 2 1/2 hours apart.

    There is no calorie or carb counting, no limit on portion size, so eat until  his stomach feel OK.

    Intensive Exercise Will Not BURN FAT

    The reason, intense aerobics and exercise only burn mainly carbohydrates for energy and not fat tissue.

    If you over-exert yourself and your breathing (and heart rate) become too elevated then your body will burn mainly carbs.

    However his goal is not to burn Carbohydrate Calories but to burn stored Body Fat.

    He can lose 10 lbs with this diet plans in less than a month, which consists of 2 type:-

    1. Online Diet Generator - If he want to lose weight MORE QUICKLY. It generates menu in just seconds.

    2. 10 Weight Loss Rules- If he would rather lose weight more "casually" (without having to follow a specific diet) then the second weight loss program which is a collection of which he can use to lose weight in a much more "casual" way.

    To lose weight he need to manipulate which types of calories enter his body at each meal.

    The first thing he must do is learn the 3 types of calories, and which calories are in each type of food that he eat.

    Some of sample foods made of Protein and Carbs (Carbohydrates) are :-

        * Lean Roast Beef

    He need to maintain his diet and eat for rest of his life the food he like. To maintain his new slim body he will have the list of some general "rules". These rules are meant to be "general" and "simple" because he can easily maintain his new body by just using a the simple and general rules.

    For example, the rule about breaking up his daily food intake into 4 meals may "seem" simple, but it can control how slim he stay in the future.

    He will be also presented with rules about what to avoid when grocery shopping, how to order food at restaurants, and how to order at fast food establishments.

    The late night eating habit and other non-healthy eating habits also been tackled.

    These rules are ""simple sounding"" but they are enough to maintain his new body for the rest of his life.

  5. you cant force a man to eat right and 'get healthy'. unfortunately men tend to think of that as nagging and do the opposite. if you ever cook for him cook healthy foods (but he'd better cook for you too!;), and ask him if he wants to come exercise with you without telling him he "should". reverse psychology is your best bet here. when he feels the need to work out and eat right, he will. if he is happy with who he is, then you need to except that.

  8. He probably feels that there's nothing wrong. You have to make sure he is motivated and dedicated to looking better. You should suggest working out with him and having meals together. Even though he eats out, he can eat healthy. For example subway is good, and applebee's has a weight watcher's menu. Maybe he should consult a registered dietician or a clinical nutritionist in order to get started. Good luck and hope this helps!
