How can i get my cellphone working again?

i have a nokia 5300. after dropping it countless times, one day i guess it just gave up. now it'll start up (after like 10 minutes of being on the white screen), but it won't let me dial numbers, text, or look at my texts. it says "message storage memory not ready". are there any little things i could try to get it to start working again?

Try opening the back and removing the battery and sim card then putting it back together again. Sometimes this works for me when my phone messes up. Good luck!
