  1. If you've had a substantial change in circumstances since the original order was issued (ie disability, unemployed, pay reduction, etc.) you can file a petition for modification of child support.  The circuit clerk usually has a blank form you can complete, just make sure you take evidence to court to back up what you say.. (pay stubs, tax papers, etc..).  This is one of the few cases where representing yourself can actually be a bonus as the judge sees that you can't afford an attorney..

  2. Virtually impossible. One can get it raised but lowering it is almost impossible. Ive personally seen thousands of requests like this hit the courts and none worked but you have nothing to lose so try

  3. hahaha good luck...

you can contact an attorney and have a modification done if youre making less money..but good luck because its much easier to get more money from an absent parent than getting less money..

  4. Why would you want to? With prices being what they are a mom needs every penny of child support to barely get by.

  5. If your income has changed, you can.

You simply go to probate court, and show them , prove that your income is less, (*not that your expenses are more) ...they will usually work with you, especially now adays.

If your ex's income is more than yours now, ...that can also help if your income has been lowered,.You must go down to court and talk to someone and tell them why you need it lowered. Also, fathers rights groups are popping up all over the country, contact them, they have so many resources for fathers today, but start with courts and file a motion. If you can afford an attorney, or just legal counsel, which is cheaper, do that too, good luck.

  6. wait until they turn eighteen

  7. I believe you have to prove that you are actually making less money than what they have on file.  If you can prove that, they should lower it.  If you are not making less money, just have more expenses, then i dunno if your going to get it lowered, seriously, i doudt it.  Dont listen to what others say on here...some ppl just talk outta their a**.  Sometimes stuff happens and incomes change.  The only other way is going thru a lawyer, but it will cost quite a bit of money that most ppl wont have.  Good Luck to you
