How can i get my computer screen onto my television screen? To view what am doing on the comp on the tv?

I have tried using a scart lead, that is attached through the audio port on the computer.. and has the yellow, white and red plugs. I have also tried using a D lead? Well i think its called a D lead lol??

It mostly depends on your television.  If you have a modern LCD television, then it should have a direct link for a VGA cable to connect your computer from the video output port.

If it does not have this, then if you have a video capture video card, you can use the co-axial port (looks like standard cable for tv?) to output the signal to a co-axial input on the tv.  Some video cards also have the 3 RCA jack type output ports which can also handle your picture and sound output to the tv.

The most important issue, is that your computer must output the signal from the video card, not any other type of port.  Only the video card can output the video signal properly so that your tv can receive it and display it properly.
