How can i get my damaged indian passport reissued or repaired in a day?

I need to travel in a weeks time but the lamination of my passport is coming off. I had an issue at the Finnish embassy when I was applying for my visa and they said (on request) that they can issue the passport at my own risk. They said this because although they know that it is a genuine defect in the manufacturing process of the Indian passports, the immigration officers in Finland might not be so considerate and ask me to take the next flight back to India without letting me enter the country.

I have this week to actually apply for my UK visa, therefore if I can use one day to get my passport repaired, then I can apply for my UK visa.

I need to know if there is ANY way, more money, tatkaal, any way to get the Passport office to reissue or repair the damaged passport in a day?

not in a day,and i know that for a fact;

if your passport is damaged, the likelihood of you traveling or getting a visa? is none to nothing , if the plastic is coming off? your passport is invalid. make necessary arrangement to get a new one,

contact your nearest regional passport office and they will be able to help you, as the concerned officer have cetain discretionary powers.
