How can i get my digital camera to unfreeze ?

so i have a sony digital camera (DSC-S730) && ive toolen it to a sony repair shop in texas and i live in long beach, so of course i take it to ups and it returns back in a week and all i have to pay for shipping&h .($20) buht the problem is that its happened twice alreadyy within the same month and the lens is stuck out and when i turn it on the main screen goes on but then it turns off. someone please help .

  1. Sounds like a battery problem. Take it to a local camera store like Ritz Camera.

  2. Sounds like a dead battery - enough life to turn on for a second, but then not enough life to stay on.

    If you can plug it into the wall outlet, see if it functions normally. Or if regular batteries, try replacing them with new batteries.

  3. Buy a new camera.
