by filing a case againts them in labour courts.

Normally you would have to wait till they give you your relieving letter, once you get that, it would mean you don't have any dues with the company.

Then you wait till end of the pay cycle for that particular month. You get your salary deposited at end of the month.

So you resign on 20th of June and you get your relieving letter on 1st of july, you would have to wait till end of july (assuming the pay cycle ends on 15th of every month).

Some places you get everything on your last working day !!!
