Question:

How can i get my eyelashes to stay curled??

I have long unruly lashes and no matter what I do, they will not stay curled! I have tried half a dozen different mascaras (and i always end up coming back to Maybelline Great Lash) and I curl my lashes with a curler before and after applying it. No luck--after a couple of hours the lashes at the outer corners are still stuck out at weird angles. I don't get it. Any suggestions?

  1. try heating your eyelash curler with the blow dryer. it acts as a curling iron for you lashes! and right after you remove the curler,  have your mascara ready to put on! works great!  or you can wear false eye lashes! those work great too! good luck!

  2. Try a heated eyelash curler.  Look online or even at Wal-Mart

  3. blow the eye lash curler with a medium heat before curling your lashes. Be sure to touch the eye lash curler before you start curling to make sure it is not hot.

  4. Dont curl them?  Deal with what you have and make it work...should be obvious.

  5. umm..maybe apply a thin coat before curling them, and then another after. that works for me!

  6. Use a metal eyelash curler.

Try heating up the eyelash curler by placing it under a blow dryer for 5-10 seconds. Make sure its not to hot by touching it. It doesn't need to be scorching hot and you don't want to burn your eye lid.

Apply mascara AFTER you curl your lashes.

  7. i have the same problem

    long thick lashes

i want to curl them but i stopped wearing make up

    you can perm them

i saw it on the tyra banks show!

  8. I will take a lighter or a blowdryer and heat up my eyelash curler with it before I curl my eyelashes. This only works if your curler is metal, and make sure it isn't hot enough to burn you before you place it on your eye. You will not believe how great this works! It works like a curling iron does on your hair, and then the mascara acts like hairspray in setting it. Good luck!

  9. There's a perm process for eyelashes

  10. I gently heat up my metal curlers with a hair dryer, them grasp my lashes with the curler and hold for  good thirty seconds. I then use a good waterproof mascara, comb to separate the lashes, and then put on another coat. It works for me, and my lashes are so skewed they point straight down some days!

You could always get your eyelashes professionally permed too...

  11. use your hairdryer to heat a eyelash curler a LITTLE BIT, test it on your arm to make sure it's not too hot.  then curl your lashes.  the hear from the dryer makes them stay curled longer.  If you want, after they have cooled, put on mascara, but i find i can just curl them and they look amazing!  good luck and be careful!

  12. take your eyelash curler and heat it up on a curling iron. works wonders :)

  13. I think you are probably using too much mascara, try not to use so much on the outer corner lashes.
