Question:

How can i get my feet wet in internet marketing?

I don't want to buy some expensive course or some "trick" to earn millions. I'd simply like to do something, be it drop shipping, affiliate marketing or whatever on a small "Turtle and the Hare" basis to learn and grow at a reasonable and responsible pace. What would anyone suggest as a good starting point?

  3. Hi Tommy,

Go to the website below. They're the best in the industry - loads of free info etc.

That company's CEO is Derek Gehl - and his course 'Insider Secrets' is always on my desk:-)

By the way - I'm full time self employed running a number of websites and making living from online businesses.

    Rgds,

    Robby

  4. E-bay seems like it'd be a good starting point. You could probably get some good experience there. People sell a lot of stuff there!

  5. I've been a full time Internet Marketer since 1999 and have dabbled in quite a few things ranging from making 10-30k a month from affiliate marketing to flipping sites & domains from 5k - 31k ranges...to my more current model of SEO and IM consulting.

I can tell you this to help simplify the process...everything generally boils down to two things (on and offline):

    1) Present a good offer

    and

    2) Get eyeballs on it

Now there are quite a few details behind 1 & 2 but those are the core things you have to initially consider.

If you're stuck on what market to enter consider these issues...

If you position yourself to sell to one of the core markets that cover the fundamentals that people:

    a) want to look good (hair replacement/fashion/etc)

    b) want to feel good (weight loss/pain elimination/etc)

    c) make money

    d) hookup with other people (dating/networking/etc)

    You'll be set.

Another thing to consider is that wherever there are huge problems if you can position yourself or the company you're selling to or generating leads for as having *the* solution to someone's problem, you'll be in no shortage of business.

One last word of advice...don't be scared off by too much competition in a market...that just means there is definitely money being made there.  :)

  6. yeaaa   people sell a lot of stuff at flea markets, thrift shops and pond shops. i think thats where you belong in a fleaaaaaaa market with the bugs. your lack of brains is unbelievible to suggest ebay. there is no way this guy is going to get rich fast on ebay especially if he listens to morons like you.

  7. Hi Tommy, your first step is to get hold of a proven and trusted resource which you can find if you do some research.  There is no such thing as "Get Rich Quick" scheme.  This term does not exist in internet marketing or in any other business.

Be wary of SCAMS, there are a lot that you can find on the internet.  Dont be misled by the images of big cheques, fancy cars, luxury yatch or whatsoever.  Truly genuine program will teach you the know-how of making money online and once you know what it takes to do business online, you can sell practically anything online.

I did lots of research before I found the resource that I was looking for and have never look back since.  Been a full-time internet marketer for the past 2 years and I believed I had made my most important decision ever.....to leave my day job.  Today, I dont work hard but I work smarter.  No more working hard like a dog and slogging long hours JUST TO MAKE SOMEONE ELSE RICH!!!

Do your research and you will find one.  Wish you success.

  9. Hi,

I would suggest you have a look on this home based business called Success University.

This business requires relatively low start up capital, and the income potential is really up to how much effort that you put in.
