  1. If you're talking about going from relaxed hair to your natural hair via some magic formula then this process is impossible. Once you chemically alter your hair then that hair will never change back. The only option is to let it grow out and then cut off the relaxed hair to be completely natural. There are a lot of myths regarding going from permed to natural. Someone told me that I could use vinegar to turn my hair natural again. Other people have heard different things. Truth be told, nothing can change it to it's natural texture - it does have to be cut off at some point in time. You've done a smart thing by researching this first. Had I not researched this process then I would have tried using vinegar because I was completely ignorant of natural hair before I did my research and visited forums and people's natural hair journals to see what it took to go from permed to natural.

You can transition, which means you'll stop perming and let your hair grow out and slowly cut off the permed hair. I've heard of women transitioning for upto 2 years before they go completely natural and this is because they want a considerable amount of natural hair before they let go of those permed ends. A lot of people will cut their hair short and wear weaves/extensions until it grows out. Others buy wigs, and others proudly wear their very short hair (teeny weeny afros).

I chose to do the big cut, which is not transitioning, but cutting off all the permed ends and sporting my teeny weeny afro of natural hair. I'm at the age were no one's opinion matters about me and what I do but mine. Using products that are designed for natural hair will not change your hair natural.

By the way, I'm confused when you insinuate that you don't want to stop perming to go natural. If you're natural then that means you don't have any chemicals (sans hair dye) in your hair, including perms. I know it's a hard decision to make and a lot of people don't want to cut their hair because this is what makes us look feminine but if you want to become natural again then you have to explore your options, such as stop perming and transitioning or doing the big cut.

Find support and join some of the forums I've listed. You'll learn a lot about natural hair and how to transition from those who have been there and done that. You'll also get to see people's hair journals where they've documented their transitions (with pictures) and you can see the different natural hair textures and hair styles. Good luck.

  2. Try natural hair products to get your natural hair back. The lotion that I use helps to accelerate hair growth but it is a a process first it calms the scalp, itching reduces, then with discipline use hair fall stops, within 3 weeks of use the hair roots strengthens and you start to see volume and silkiness

The website is www.ziravie.com but I bought it in Spain and now it is available on ebay.co.uk and ID is hair-treatment
