How can i get my hair soft and shiny?

Hi my hair feels dry, and sometimes stringy. What shampoo and conditioner can i use to get it soft, shiny, and healthy looking? And i dont go to a salon i go to smeones house so i would perfer if i could get somthing at target or CVS. Thanks.

for me, any of the garnier fructis or aussi conditioners works. they have some nice leave-in conditioners too, for deeper work.if that doesnt work, you could always use natural ingredients like eggs or beer (yeah i know that sounds weird, but it works. lol).
