How can i get my hamster to run?

ive had her for 2 weeks and she hasnt ran on it once.. what should i do?

Initially, my little Poppy wouldn't go on her wheel in her cage. So, I purchased a hamster ball you can set on the table that can also use on the floor and rolls. At first she was was very uncoordinated and awkward in it, it was very cute watching her get used it.

Now her little hamster ball is one of her favorite things to do outside her cage and she LOVES her wheel inside her cage. Just give her time and she will get used to it.

you should get her a wheel, put her on it, and spin it a little.

Just make sure she doesn't go flying down the stairs. That would probably end badly.
