  1. first you say : ch ch ch like the clicking noise, then you keep saying it and you will notice she is going a little faster, after you stick your butt up when your going over the jump.

    Hope this helps! !

  2. Maybe have a riding lesson, join pony club

buy a whip (crop's are best for jumping)

    us it ,

  3. use a crop or gently kick her/his sides. if that does not work kick her/him harder. it will feel like a tap to them. they will hurt you before you hurt them.

  4. alright  first of all do not walk her over the jumps, that just teaches her the wrong thing, and then when u ask her to trot it confuses her. so do your normal warm up routine. then after you cater go down to a walk and walk around a couple times but not over th jumps. then pick up a trot so she doesnt know you are going to a jump. keep going and see what she does. it should work, but if she stops use a crop spurs or stop her back her up and try it again until she gives in. and most importantly STAY CALM!!!! she might not want to listen but stay calm, ask for help, and work through it. i am training a horse that knows nothing and i have gotten frustrated with it,  but i stop take a couple of deep breaths and try again and a lot more gets accomplished that way. If she does go over at a trot right after the jump reward her majorly. pet her rub her and say that shes a good girl and do that on a normal basis so she wnts to jump and that should do it

  5. Give her some leg before the jump. Maybe even a tap with the crop.

  6. feed it cheeze

    jk

    use a crop

have you ever jumped a horse???

  7. HI there, i just went through the same thing as you. My horse always thought that jumps were just raised ground poles. He always thought he had to step high over them instead of jump.

What i did was trot around the entire arena and really at a brisk trot. When he got to the jump (about 6 inches) he had too much momentum and realized that he couldnt clear the jump with each foot so he jumped. then of course you need to reward the horse.

If that doesnt work, then keep raising the jump untill the horse is made to jump it.

    good luck

  8. Try going to the base of the jump at a trot. Then when u feel her start to slow down squeeze her with your legs and tap her with a crop. this process should only be nesisicary for a few jumpe until she gets the idea.

It may also be helpful to lead her over jumps from the ground at a trot so she can get used to it.

  9. Ask for a nice forward trot. Trot staight up to the jump. Make sure you look look at something in the distance, not down at the jump. If she seem like she is going to walk, queeze her. If she ignores you, give a kick. Remember your position as you go over the jump. Hope I helped!
