I think rosin powder is used to keep dance shoes from slipping on the floor. Is that right? And i want to use it on my jazz shoes because they keep on sliding around on the floors. Do u know where to get it? (preferably not online)

And is there anything else i could use to keep my jazz shoes from sliding all over the place?

Help would be greatly appreciated =]

  1. Well it depends, if they are new shoes. I would break em in before you put anything on them. Or do turns on cement. It works pretty good, i have done it before. If they are old, then i think its time to get a new pair of shoes.

  2. i usually do this with all my shoes:

put them on  and scuff them up outside in the street do a lot of turns it really makes them not as slippery

  3. hairspray works really good or coke but once coke dries it tends to become slipperier
