  1. As a mom, I will not allow my daughter to get any piercings or tattoos until she's 18. She knows this and stopped asking.  Your mom has your best interest at heart if you believe it or not. Hopefully, I'll be w/my daughter when she gets a tattoo. She was w/me when I got mine and I was 30-something!  Hopefully she never gets piercings....lol.

  2. when i really want something i do something nice for my mom like cleaning or somthing

    then i ask agian and if she says no

    i keep trying (;

    hope it works.

  3. like mr.T said in one of his obnoxious music videos

    "respect your mothaaaa there is no othaaaa"

    - batman

  4. Stop whining. Of course she's going to say no if you're whining because it makes you seem immature. Like you just randomly decided you wanted one and haven't really thought about it very much.

    Rather, hit her with the facts: You can take it out and you'll have only a tiny scar once it heals up, lots of (job) places don't care about facial jewelry on kids anymore except for perhaps nice-ish restaurants or whatever, it won't wear at your teeth if it's positioned well, you know of 'n' piercing place with piercer 'x' who has really good recommendations, you're willing to pay for everything, including the procedure, studs, Listerine, etc.

    If you're 15 or up, it's a maximum of 3 years before you can have it done on your own anyway - and a lot of places arne't that picky. If you get an adult to go with you, I bet you most places won't ask for ID. Heck, I bet a lot of places won't ask for ID period, if you look mature.

    And if you're under 15, I think you're fighting a losing battle because you are young.

  5. Write her a letter calmly explaining why you think you're ready to make the decision whether or not to pierce your face or not. Compromise with her. Assure her you will pay for it and take good care of it. Educate yourself on everything that goes into it and convey that information to her. Make yourself seem read up on it to her so she doesn't think your just pulling a desire for this piercing out of the air. This will show her that you've maturally thought it over.

    In situations like this you really have to make a case for yourself after all she is your mother and what she says goes if you're underaged. If this doesn't work drop it for a bit and bring it up from time to time, not annoyingly, but just enough to show her how much it means to you.

    I hope you're able to get the piercing you want. Good luck.

  6. sorry.... u can't do it

    because moms are moms....

    my mom does the same thing when I ask her whether I can get a tatoo on my cheek...

    so forget it
