do your research,find out about state laws ecsitera,present your ideas to them,show them that your serious about your education,not just looking for a way out of school.When you discuss it with them be diplomatic rather winge,focus on the good points of home schooling insted of how much school sucks

If at all possable get the book The Teenage Libaration Handbook

it's one of the best books on homeschooling I've ever found.

Most parents feel inadequate and not equipped to consider this option for their children. So, you need to give them confidence and show them that you will give it all you can and map out a schedule each day that you would use. Also find them some good tools and resources so they can learn what to do for you as the student. Check out resources like this site and look at many others as well that can help them to help you. This might just convince them!
