How can i get my recordings onto my movie?

I have some of my friends' recordings on my phone, which i can (with some difficulty) figure out how to get onto my laptop but from there, its a mystery as to how i can get them onto my windows moviemaker. WTF??? And what up with the movie maker "not being able to import" any of my greenday tracks WHICH ARE TOTALLY NOT PIRATED. My friend burned me a cd and i...loaded...them...onto my computer. Oh god, don't tell me i have to go out and buy the original cd? c**p c**p and megacrap.

wmmaker does not support cel .3gp format or dvd .vob.; convert the cel video files (.3gp?) to .avi or .wmv.

or similarly dvd .vob files if presented in this format

- download Prism or Kate's video converter (free)

- open the video converter

- add your .3gp files form ur phones memory card (hv card reader?)

- select output setting .avi (if your have enough hddisk space) or .wmv (highest resolution) & save to pc folder

- import converted video file to wmmaker

video editing process- XP/wmm2

>>> open wmm- start/all programs/wmm->TASK pane

1. Capture/Import converted video files

2. Edit- drag/drop video files->timeline & enhance w/effects, transition, music & titles

3. Finish (render)- save Movie file, also save Project* ** file

4. Share-burn to CD (if DvD, thru a DvD authoring app like DvD Flick, Nero, etc.)
