  1. First, make sure your computer isn't muted. If it isn't, make sure the program you use to play music isn't muted.

It could be that your audio driver is in need of an update. What brand is your computer - Dell? Toshiba? Just go to their website (like www.dell.com) and search "drivers." Put in the model of your computer, and you will be taken to a page that has a list of a bunch of drivers. Search for the "audio" section. Find an audio driver (preferably a recent one), download the file, and run it. If you're having problems doing this, let us know and we can help you. :)

If updating your driver doesn't work, your sound card might be broken. At this point, take it in to a technician and have them take a look at it.

    Hope this helps!

  2. Go to control pannel and go to sound speech and yada yada, then click on sound and audio devices, then the little box pops up u'll find it there..... or your speakers are unplugged

hope i helped almost kinda sorta, a lil bit

  3. If your soundcard has failed you can now buy a cheap USB sound device from eBay. Just lucg it in your PC's USB socket, then plug in your speaker jack and Hey Presto! I got one and it works a treat!

    Good luck!

  4. first make sure you're speakers are plugged in and switched on.

go to control panel /sounds then make sure your sound card is enabled and not greyed out. Or go to my computer and right click it, go to properties/hardware/device manger and uninstall your sound card. Rebooting should force your computer to recognise it again. Or get a driver update from Windows Update or there might be one from the manufactures site or search elsewhere on the internet.

    Good luck!

  5. Right click the speaker icon next to the time.Open volume control.Or click

start--Control Panel then Administrative Tools and Services Shortcut. The

one you want is above Windows Firewall.Windows Audio.Click start.
