I am 12 and I absolutely LOVE performing, dancing, singing, acting. My dream is to be on Broadway. I know you are probably all thinking," Well she's 12, why is she asking this now?" But I am serious about doing this, not like one of those little kids who just wants to be an actress so they can be famous. I cant imagine doing anything else! Does anyone know how I could do this when I get older? Someone please help!

  1. You work very, very, very hard. You take every class you can and take part in every school musical and community theater production. You go to college for acting or musical theater, but you make sure to take other kinds of classes which make you a well-rounded person. After college you move to New York, get a job which pays the bills but is flexible enough to allow you to attend auditions. You go to every single audition that you possibly can, and you make sure you're as prepared as you can possibly be for every single one. You figure out when in your career you should join Equity (it's different for every person), and then you make that happen. And then maybe just possibly there's a small chance that you might be cast in a Broadway production.

It's not easy. But that's how it's done.

  2. work hard, join drama clubs, act in plays. maybe talk to your drama or music teacher and ask him/her for advice :]
