Hiiii im in a family crises im a full tomboy always dressing and acting like boys that makes me happy, but my 26 year brother dosnt know im one. He wants me to be girly and dress feminine i do infront of him. its my 18th brithday on saturday my dirty stinky brother has made a big fuss and is falsing me to 1) taking me to the movies to look at a action movie 2) going to false me to get ma hair done in a girly style 3) making me wear make up taking me to a facial 4) getting pictures done of me posing like a tart in a studio, 5) doing girly shopping for me which sucks im not alllowed out with my freinds im really upset, awful crying i h8 being girly im going to have a bad birthday my brother is a b*****d cant stand him im scared i dont have no girly outfits he wants me to wear shoes, skirts im really upset i dont want arguments on my bday i want to be happy helppppp plzzzzzzzzzzz thankzzzz

Tell your brother to get lost, it's none of his business how you dress anyway.

You can always pre-empt him by shaving your head. And you can always just disappear for your birthday, plan a secret day out away somewhere with your friends.

If your brother does not know you are a tomboy then tell him.  Tell him that your do not want girlie things that you are happy just being you and that is a tomboy.

Let him know how miserable going shopping and having your hair done will make you.

However if you go with him with a good attitude,

you might just change your mind about wanting to be a tomboy after you see just how pretty you can be as a girl.  After all you will be 18 either going off to college or getting a job and you will have to start dressing like a girl.  

There comes a time when we have to all stop being tomboys and start being who we are - a girl, a young lady.  Your brother wants to help you learn how to be a girl and a young lady so let him and thank him.  Now on week ends if you want to look like a tomboy go ahead and be one.  But during the week it's back to being a young lady.

I know it's YOUR birthday and all, but, would it really be so upsetting to let your brother have the day with you? On another day in the future you could celebrate your birthday the way you would like with your friends, So what, ya gotta dress like a girl for a change.. big whoops..I mean after all you are a girl, it's not like guys can be tom girls, and get away with it like a tomboy..lol.. get all dazzled up for the occasion, he's paying so who cares.. make up washes off and he's not super gluing the clothes to you is he... besides you'll have something to wear in the future... like to his funeral or something..jk... so be happy knowing for a change you made your brother happy... it's good karma and it'll come back to you some day... happy birthday by the way... sometimes we all do what we don't want to do... but it would be a nice way and sort of a sacrifice to show your brother you love and appreciate him by letting him have your day...and if he were gone would you look back and say "I wish I could have made my brother happy for one day" It is only one day..

Your brother cannot force you to do anything.

tell him its your special day and you'd love to go to the movies (an action movie, I notice, not a chic-flick!),  go shopping for clothes if you can choose them and maybe have a meal, but he is NOT to control you, you are 18 and legally an adult. You choose what you want to do

Sounds to me it is your fault your brother thinks you like these things.  If you were always who you are no matter who you were around then you wouldn't be in this situation.

Best thing for you is to tell your brother what you want and for you to learn to be yourself.  If you don't this will come up again.

Maybe your brother is trying to give you a special birthday, and being a guy this is what he thinks that all girls like to do.  He will never know unless you tell him.  

If you tell him and he get mad or won't accept it then thats on him.  Plus you are going to be 18 he can't make you do something you don't want to do.

The easiest but sometimes hardest way is sticking up for yourself and telling him no tand that there is a limit and he is not to go over it. On saturday you'll be an adult and then you make the decisions in fact you should have been doing that since you were 14,15,16. Tell him the you are a tomboy because they are not very rare and that you are not into that stuff and you wont be forced to do it. Smacking you depends on the type of smacking that you mean because punching you is assault.

try talkin to him and telling him that that is not your style but you appriciate all the effort hes gone to with planning your birthday. Tell him that you would like to do stuff with him like goin 2 the cimema or goin bowlin or sumethin but just not being all girly.

If your brother gets violent towards you and start smacking you because of this, you should tell your parents if they understand or tell the police or childline as this is not accectable
