How can i get on the cheer squad at my new school I've never been to and i don't know anyone?

i'm moving to florida and i've been living overseas for the past couple years. i've cheered for 2 yrs at my old school but cheering there didn't focus on tumbling or huge dance backgrounds. I don't know what cheerleadings like in the states and i want to be on my new schools squad. The problem is, i'm gonna be completely new and i think they already picked their team. i believe they already had their tryouts and their first game is the first week of school. I'm not brand new to cheerleading my jumps are condsidered excellent, i'm a good flyer i hold my weight well, i'm easy to get along with, i am really close to having an good backhandspring, and i pick up dance easily. How do i get on the squad if its already chosen? Do i talk with the coaches or make nice with some of the girls? What do i do?

call the school. Get the cheer coaches number and ask her if she could introduce you to one of the girls since you are new(even if their are no open cheerleading positions right now. I bet she'll keep you in mind!

talk with the coaches, maybe you can get on the team, if not good luck for the next year if you try out.

if the squad was already chosen then u might wanna talk to the coach tell him/her u came late and really want to try out and ask if theres any chance u can try out
